Harry Stirk

Director

Harry founded Stirk Law after having worked at top tier international law firms in London, Jersey and Guernsey. This includes time spent working in-house at major global banks in London and Jersey.

He has significant experience advising on complex and high value disputes, commercial and corporate arrangements, employment and private wealth matters. He has a range of clients from the UK and internationally including high-net-worth individuals, trust companies, media businesses and start-ups.

Harry is a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association and AIJA, the International Association of Young Lawyers. He is also a CEDR accredited mediator and a judge of the National Students Negotiation Competition.

• Obtaning freezing and Banker's Trust orders in a EUR 400k push payment fraud
• SKAT v Solo Capital Partners LLP: acting for SKAT, the Danish tax authority, in a claim of £1.5bn against a trader for alleged tax fraud.
• Acting for an inventor in a claim against a global raw metals business for $1.1 billion for breach of confidence and conspiracy.
• Crociani v Crociani: acting for defendant trustees in a family trust dispute claim of $130 million for breaches of trust.
• Hard Rock v HRCKY Limited: acting for Hard Rock in proceedings against the franchisee of Hard Rock cafes operating in the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas for breach of franchise agreements and defending a fraud counterclaim for $14 million.
• Dick-Stock v GB Trustees Limited: acting for a beneficiary of multiple family trusts with assets of approximately £25 million in Jersey and $25 million in the US in actions to remove the Jersey trustee, determine the beneficial owner of certain property, recover losses for breaches of trust and fiduciary duty and purge findings of contempt.
